TRGPD is looking for a rock star finance administrator to join our organization to manage an operating budget of over $8 million. Main Responsibilities
Manage and support all aspects of finance, accounting and financial reporting, including the annual 990 filing
Liaise with external bookkeeping service, auditors and tax agents
Produce financial reports related to budgets, grant reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivables, and expenses, including necessary research and analysis
Maintain internal control and safeguard all aspects of revenue. Manage prudent, accurate use of costs, program budgets and expenditures.
Develop and maintain accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
Advise organization on technological changes that support efficiency and accuracy (accounting and payroll software). Make recommendations to management.
Refine and implement monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the Finance and Executive Committees, and the Board of Directors
Perform ad hoc, non-routine financial analysis as needed. Other duties as assigned.
Specific Duties
Assume full responsibility for the organization’s financial duties and responsibilities as follows:
Financial Data: Collect, analyze, enter and reconcile all financial data including accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits, payroll for the organization including all bank accounts for the business and the endowment.
Financial Reporting: Perform month-end closing, updating supplemental reports, finalize all monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Board reports: Provide financial and analytical reports for Finance Committee meetings and as needed. Attend all Finance Committee meetings and other meetings as requested by the board.
Cash Management: Monitor cash flow and distribute cash projection reports regularly.
Budget: Work closely with Executive Director to deliver accurate annual (allocated) budget and accompanying month budget/actual analysis reports.
System: Fully understand, utilize and maintain QuickBooks system.
Audit and CPA Review: Work closely with board Treasurer and CPA firm to deliver audit and financial reports on time and with accuracy.
Fundraising: Work closely with Development manager to develop budgets for grants.
Banking:
Work closely with Board Treasurer and Bank – manage bank relationship and furnish reports required by bank in order to ensure continuity of accounts (both CHS, WSCC and Endowment).
HR & Payroll: Work closely with HR Manager and/or HR Assistant and Business Operations Manager to manage HR/Payroll functions as follows:
Serve as backup semi-monthly payroll, including contractor payroll.
Manage and reconcile all payroll-related benefits programs offered by the organization including insurance and vacation/sick leave.
Leadership:
Take proactive leadership role in meetings providing input and analysis to day-to-day operational topics for discussion including financial, personnel, clinic, HR, billing and administrative and other topics.
Experience:
Detail oriented
Strong data entry skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years of experience (Preferred)
Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
Accounting & QuickBooks: 3 years (Preferred)
Excellent command of Microsoft Office - specifically Pivot Tables
